Mulch
Pine mulches around flower beds and trees control erosion, retain moisture, suppress weeds, add organic matter to soil structures, and look good to boot!
Forman Farms offers a variety of composted, natural and coloured pine mulches. We recycle waste wood, from factories, grinding natural pine mulch, mixing natural composted pine mulch. We use SoyaOil based coloring for our high-quality red, brown, and black for landscapers, property owners, and depots. SoyaOil coloring technology, is 100% plant and mineral based, which focuses on biodegradable, water-solvent, fire retardant and environmentally- friendly wood fibre mulch colourants. They are all food and medical grade compliant, being non-hazardous to humans, pets, livestock, and wildlife, supporting our dedication to safe, sustainable practices.
Outdoor environments can be tough on decorative mulch, with rain and moisture causing colours to fade or wash off over time. Our improved colourants resist these issues, retaining vibrant colour even under challenging weather conditions. This ensures the mulch looks fresher for longer, reducing the need for reapplication.
- Improved Coverage We’ve increased the opacity of our colourants, allowing for better coverage with fewer applications. This means more efficient production and a more uniform, high quality finish.
- Increased Weather Resistance Outdoor products are exposed to the elements, and maintaining their quality over time can be difficult. Our upgraded colourants, using Soy Oil, are formulated to better withstand fading and wear caused by weather exposure, making them especially useful for those looking to purchase mulch during fall and stockpile for spring. Enhanced durability allows the product to maintain its appearance throughout its life cycle.
